CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Wyoming Highway Patrol reported in a preliminary crash report that 29-year-old Wyoming resident Ethan Huckeba died as a result of injuries sustained in a November 20 crash on Interstate 25 near Edgerton.
The WHP reports that the crash occurred near milepost 218.7 at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, November 20. Huckeba had been driving in a Chevrolet Trailblazer north on I-25 at the time of the crash.
“The Trailblazer departed I-25 to the right, coming in contact with the guardrail on the east side of the roadway,” the crash report states. “The vehicle veered back across both travel lanes and departed the roadway to the left, crashing into the guardrail on the west side. The driver overcorrected and re-entered the road.”

“The vehicle tripped in the roadway and rolled. The vehicle crashed into the guardrail on the east side again, directing it back into the roadway, where it came to rest on its wheels.”
Huckeba had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to the WHP. Driver fatigue and/or sleep is being considered as a possible contributing factor to the crash. Four other people in the vehicle were not injured as a result of the crash, according to the WHP.
