CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Start the summer season off right by joining in Wyoming’s Free Fishing Day!
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department invites anglers of all ages to take part in this day on June 4.
It is part of a tradition in which the department designated the first Saturday of National Boating and Fishing week to allow anyone to fish in the state without a license.
This excludes the Wind River Reservation and Yellowstone National Park.
The department asks anglers to note that all fishing regulations, creel and size limits, gear restrictions and stream closures remain in effect.
The 2022 Fishing Regulations are available online.
