Cheyenne to have various trick-or-treat locations this weekend

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — With Halloween approaching, Cheyenne is getting ready for all the trick-or-treaters that will be going around the city this weekend.

Check out where to get the best candy this weekend in Cheyenne!

  • The Laramie County Public Library will be having their Haunted Library event tonight, Oct. 28, from 6–7:45 p.m. for children in grades 3 through 6 (and their families). Then, on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 6–7:45 p.m., teens in grades 7 through 12 are invited to be spooked at the Haunted Library for Teens!
  • Connections Cheyenne at 2142 W. Lincolnway will be having its 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 29. From 4 to 6 p.m., the kiddos of Laramie County will be able to gather candy and treats, including special treats for those who may have food restrictions. Cheyenne Police and Fire Departments will also be present to help!
  • Head to the Depot this Saturday, Oct. 29, from noon to 2 p.m. to grab a treat bag and take a hay ride in Downtown Cheyenne. Rides will be $5. There is also trick-or-treating throughout the Downtown area, and a map of participating locations can be found here.
  • Head to Fairfield Inn & Suites Southwest at 1820 W. Lincolnway to Trunk or Treat from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. There will be food, fun, games, and prizes for all! 
  • The Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum at 4610 Carey Ave. will be partnering with the Association of General Contractors and Cheyenne Frontier Days for the Wild West Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 29. Come from 1 to 4 p.m. for candy, food trucks, and fun.
  • The Halloween fun will continue on Monday, Oct. 31, at the Governor’s Residence at 5001 Central Avenue from 5-7 p.m. Governor Mark Gordon and his wife, Jennie, will be there to greet guests.
