CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Healthy Wyoming Coalition is rallying in front of the State Capitol next Tuesday, Jan. 10.

The rally will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. and will coincide with the first day of the 2023 Legislative General Session. The coalition comprises of the Wyoming Women’s Foundation, Wyoming Rising and Healthy Wyoming.

If passed, the Wyoming Health Department estimates that roughly 19,000 residents would be eligible for the program’s health insurance.

The coalition held a similar rally last year that featured pro-Medicaid speeches from community members and sympathetic politicians.

The event will also be livestreamed and recorded at Healthy Wyoming’s YouTube account.
