CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Laramie County Commissioners unanimously approved a varied consent agenda during its regular meeting this afternoon.
Among the approvals are:
Laramie County Fair
The Laramie County Fair will take place Aug. 2-12 at the Archer Complex.
- Consideration of an agreement between Laramie County and Alpacaglobo, LLC, in the amount of $3,600 to provide balloon twisting entertainment at the Laramie County Fair.
- Consideration of an addendum between Laramie County and Billy Traughber, dba MicroMania, in the amount of $10,000 to provide MicroMania Midget Wrestling during the Laramie County Fair.
- Consideration of an addendum between Laramie County and Fuzion, Inc, in the amount of $12,000 to provide “Los Chicos del 512: The Selena Experience” at the Archer Event Center.
- Consideration of an addendum between Laramie County and Randy McLelland in the amount of $750 to provide comedy entertainment at the Laramie County Fair.
- Consideration of an addendum between Laramie County and The Adventure Zone, Inc, in the amount of $13,500 to provide games and attractions at the Laramie County Fair.
- Consideration of an addendum between Laramie County and The Funny Bone Comedy Club & Restaurant in the amount of $1,100 plus one night hotel stay to provide comedy entertainment at the Laramie County Fair.
Agreements/Contracts
- Consideration of an agreement between Laramie County and Schlosser Signs, Inc, in an amount not to exceed $8,986 to design a monument display for the Archer Event Center.
- Consideration of an enterprise agreement between Laramie County and ESRI and a memorandum of understanding between Laramie County, City of Cheyenne, Board of Public Utilities, Cheyenne/Laramie County Board of Health and Cheyenne Regional Airport Board to define the management and coordination strategy in administering the small government enterprise agreement for the GIS software.
- Consideration of a law enforcement services agreement between Laramie County and the Town of Pine Bluffs to allow the services of a Laramie County deputy sheriff to serve as a law enforcement officer.
- Consideration of a contract between Wyoming Department of Health and Laramie County in an amount not to exceed $179,245.30 to fund the Drug Court Program.
- Consideration of a contract between Wyoming Department of Health and Laramie County in an amount not to exceed $256,354.18 to fund the DUI Court program.
Permits
- Consideration of a catering permit submitted by S&W Properties, dba Vino’s Wine and Spirits, for an event on June 10 at Curt Gowdy State Park.
- Consideration of a catering permit submitted by The Knotty Pine Saloon for an event on June 3 at the Archer Complex.
- Consideration of three one-day catering permits submitted by DeLancey Enterprises, LLC, dba Hell on Wheels Package Liquors, for events on May 20 at LCCC; June 9 and June 30 at the Archer Complex
Amendments
- Consideration of 14 amendments to US Dept of the Treasury Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund. These amendments extend the term of the non-profit subaward contracts from May 31 to Dec. 31.
- CLIMB Wyoming, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, Carpenter School & Community, Equal Justice of Wyoming, Family Promise of Cheyenne, Habitat for Humanity, Cheyenne Health & Wellness dba Healthworks, Kiwanis Club, Legal Aid of Wyoming, The Wyoming Family Homeownership Program dba My Front Door, The Pine Bluffs Lions Club, Town of Albin, Unaccompanied Students Initiative, and The Young Men’s Christian Association of Boulder or YMCA of Cheyenne.
Grant Awards
- Consideration of a grant award agreement between the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security and Laramie County for a State Homeland Security Program grant in the amount of $5,000 for Emergency Management to run through Aug. 31 for expenses associated with the National CERT Conference.
