CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Cheyenne City Council approved several consent agenda items during its regular meeting this evening.

Among the items was a resolution to support the Cheyenne Regional Airport board in its application for and acceptance of federal assistance from the Federal Aviation Administration. The funds will assist the airport in constructing a passenger boarding bridge connected to the passenger terminal. The same resolution was adopted by the Laramie County Commissioners at their regular Tuesday meeting last week. The council also approved the airport board’s Fiscal Year 2024 budget, which estimates the total revenues to be at $33,001,255.84, for a difference of more than $3 million from estimated expenses.

A liquor license for L’Osteria Mondello, an Italian restaurant located on 1507 Stillwater Ave., was also green-lit during the meeting. Known as one of locals favorite pizzerias, the owners plan to use the license and restaurant to open Cheyenne to the, “fine dinning and cultural experiences it deserves”, a memo to the city council states.
