Bicyclist killed in I-80 collision in Sweetwater County

CASPER, Wyo. — A bicyclist was struck and killed on July 12 on eastbound I-80 near Rock Springs, according to a Wyoming Highway Patrol report.

A Western Star combination unit left its travel lane to the right onto the shoulder near mile marker 105 on Interstate 80, where the combination unit collided with a bicyclist.

The bicyclist has been identified as Florida resident Albert Didominic, 62. Driver fatigue is being cited as a possible contributing factor, the report said.
