CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Laramie County Fair, one of Wyoming’s largest and oldest fair, brings together residents from one city, three towns, six census-designated places and five unincorporated communities.
The fair is hosted annually at the Archer Event Center in the summer time. This year, the fair takes place from Aug. 2-12.
4-H and FFA classes and competitions draw a lot of attention to the fair, but fairgoers can also enjoy free activities including mini golf, face painting, an inflatable playground, a laser maze, balloon animals and magic shows. Evening entertainment includes a ranch rodeo, pig wrestling and a demolition derby, will also take place throughout the week of Aug. 5–12.
