CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A Wyoming man is dead following a Nov. 5 vehicle crash in Crook County.
The incident took place around 2:40 a.m. on 200 E. Converse St. near Moorcroft, according to a Wyoming Highway Patrol incident report.
A Mercury Sable failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and exited the roadway to the right. The vehicle traveled through a property fence and continued across the yard before impacting the deck attached to a residence, the report states.
Michael Wertacet, 58, is identified in the report as the driver and the deceased.
Road conditions are listed as being dry and clear at the time of the crash. The report does not list any possible contributing factors to the crash.
