CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation has announced a brief closure of US 30/East Lincolnway scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 4. The closure will allow crews to complete paving operations, according to the announcement.

Westbound US 30/East Lincolnway at Reese Road through Dell Range Boulevard will be closed for the day. Traffic will be detoured south on Reese Road and then west to Pershing Boulevard. Additionally, the north and south approaches to Christensen Road will be shut down. Drivers from north Christensen will need to detour via Horizon Loop, connecting to Dell Range, where they can reenter US 30.

Motorists are urged to obey all posted signs, follow instructions from flaggers and remain attentive, particularly by avoiding distractions like cellphones.

WYDOT noted that the schedule could change based on weather conditions or material availability. Crews from Reiman Corp. and Aztec Construction will be carrying out the work.

This temporary closure and detour are expected to last through the day, with normal traffic resuming once paving is completed.
