CASPER, Wyo. – Black ice advisories are in effect on parts of I-25 in Casper and Chugwater on Thursday morning after a quick storm made its way through the state yesterday, according to WYDOT.
A wreck involving a semi-tractor trailer blocked both lanes of I-25 on Wednesday morning in Casper. Slick roads slowed traffic along the corridor during much of the day.
Today’s weather is considerably more favorable, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton, with no moisture and a high of 30 degrees in the Casper area.
High winds with gusts over 65 mph are predicted along I-25 from Chugwater to Wheatland starting early Friday morning through Saturday, according to the NWS.
