Godonis appointed to Housing Authority Board; council appoints Municipal Court magistrate judges

Mayor Patrick Collins

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A one-year resident of Cheyenne seeking to give back to the community will now serve on the city’s Housing Authority Board.

On Monday, the Cheyenne City Council appointed Jennifer Godonis to the board after reviewing her application. The application says Godonis wants to “help address housing related challenges in Wyoming” while doing her best to help others.

Godonis’s volunteer experience includes serving as a Wyoming Girls State Trial Attorney in 2022, according to the application.

Also appointed on Monday were three Municipal Court magistrate hearing judges. The council said there is a need to fill in for the senior magistrate judge and help judge circuit courts.

The appointed judges are Scott Homar, Jason Wasserburger and Nate Nicholas.
