CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Drivers on US 30/East Lincolnway should prepare for a traffic shift this Thursday, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation. Crews from Reiman Corp. and Aztec Construction will move traffic from the westbound lanes to the eastbound lanes east of Whitney Road, weather permitting.
Currently, paving operations are ongoing in the westbound lanes, with traffic set up in a head-to-head configuration. After Thursday’s shift, traffic will remain in the eastbound lanes for the remainder of the paving work.
Flaggers will be positioned at two locations, with only a single lane open for travel during the shift. Motorists should anticipate delays and are advised to obey all posted signs and instructions from flaggers. WYDOT emphasized the importance of avoiding distractions such as cellphones while driving through the construction zone.
