Roy “Dean” Parr

Roy “Dean” Parr, 73, of Cheyenne passed away February 28, 2020 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

He was born October 22, 1943 in Montpelier, ID to Richard and Ramona Parr.  He married Penny McCall on August 8, 1971 in Elko, NV.  He lived in Montpelier from 1943-1946, Cheyenne 1946-1968, Rawlins 1968-1971, Hanna 1971-2014 and Cheyenne since 2014, during his time in Hanna, he was a foreman for Energy Development and Rosebud Coal mines.

He is survived by his daughter, Rene (Gene) Kelley of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Michael, Marissa, Sadalynn, Jessie, and Suzanna; great-grandchildren, Zayvier and Raelynn; brother, David Parr of Colorado Springs, CO.

He was preceded by his parents; wife, Penny Parr; and sisters, Peggy Herceg and Mona Kay Parr.

Visitation will be Monday 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Schrader Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.  Services will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Beth El Cemetery.


Dean Sulzer

Dean Sulzer, 87, of Hillsdale, passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 in Cheyenne.

He was born on October 6, 1932 in Palisade, Colorado.

Dean served in the U.S. Navy. He then was terminal manager for Salt Creek Freight Ways. He liked working on cars, so he built and opened up his own one-man auto body shop in Hillsdale until he retired.

In 1969 along with his father-in-law Al Steers, brother-in-law Jerry Yost, Jim Steers and Dutch Katsimeir, began their first meeting and in 1970 the Northglenn Elks Lodge was instituted. Dean loved watching Navy football, Denver Broncos, and Colorado Rockies with a Budweiser in hand.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Shirley Sulzer; children, Mike (Diane) Sulzer, Mark Sulzer, Norma (Dave) Miller; grandchildren, Heather (Willy) Rhoads, Shane Miller, Mike (Andrea) Miller, Mindy (Chris) Patterson; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws Alva and Jenny Steer; and daughter-in-law Pam Sulzer.

Vigil for the Deceased will be Sunday, 4:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.

Funeral Liturgy will be Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with military honors and interment to follow at Beth El Cemetery.

A reception will follow at the American Legion Post 6.


Mary Wonch,

Mary Wonch, 91, of Cheyenne passed away February 27, 2020 in Cheyenne.

She was born November 14, 1928 in Hereford, Colorado to Earl and Edith Johnson.  She was an account specialist with Wyoming Department of Commerce, and a member of Archer Friendly Club.

She is survived by her children, Ann Wonch of Cheyenne, Jane Trompke of Carlsbad, NM, Beth (Bruce) Simmons of Torrington and Ed Wonch of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Jacqueline Wonch, Victoria Winn, Jerome Trompke, Amelia Trompke, Chrystal Good, Christina Krasovich, Mary Jeanne Gress, Chance Trompke, Nathan Trompke, John Simmons, Coy Simmons, Tiffany Ezzell, Jason Williams and Justin Williams; and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Services will be Saturday 1:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home with a reception to follow in Schrader Reception Center.


Helen (Webber) Scott

Helen (Webber) Scott, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep February 24th at Laramie Care Center where she received exceptional care. She was born January 20, 1930 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Chaney and Lillie Webber.
She is survived by siblings Joe (Maxine) Webber, Jim (Carolyn) Webber, Sharon Wells of Cheyenne, Loretta Heath of Montana, Connie Cummings of California, children Linda (Richard) Rodriquez, Dewey (Pam) Williams of Cheyenne, Nancy (Ken) Casner of Elk Mountain, Tom (Deby) Williams of Colorado, 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, siblings Ella Mae Webber, Mattalene Paterson, Mildred Altizer, Martha King, Robert Webber, daughter Wilda Canonici, grandsons Pete and Richie Rodriquez, husbands Dewey Williams, Chat Dean, Royal Scott.

Services will be Thursday, March 5th at 1:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Church. In lieu of flowers memorials in her name can be sent to the Salvation Army Church. Expressions of care can be sent to www.wrcfuneral.com.
