Robert L. Welsh, 82, of Cheyenne passed away April 23, 2020, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 18, 1937 in Rock Springs, WY to William and Lillian Welsh. He married Genevieve Morfeld on November 21, 1959 in Rock Springs. He was retired from Climax and also the Union Pacific Railroad. He was a veteran, having served in the US Navy, enlisting immediately from high school. He loved to fish and watch ballgames, especially the Broncos and Rockies.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Welsh; children, Roberta (Jeff) Paser of Littleton, CO, William (Lauren) Welsh of Thornton, CO, Laurie Cameron of Cheyenne and Theador Welsh of Cheyenne; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Daniel of Rock Springs, WY., and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ted Welsh.
Services will take place at a later date and will be announced.
Donations may be made in Robert’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Eva Betty Brookhouser, 94, passed away on April 24, 2020, at her home in Cheyenne surrounded by her family.
Betty was known to everyone as “Oma”.
Oma was born in Erlangen, Germany on August 12, 1925, but spent most of her life in Bad Windseim, Germany until coming to the United States in 1949 after the war. She married Marvin Gerald Brookhouser, “Opa”, an American serviceman stationed at a nearby army base.
After moving to the United States, Gerry was stationed at F. E. Warren and they raised four children, Barbara Scearce (Gene), both deceased, Hettie Cisco (Chuck), Basil Brookhouser and Marlene Palmer (Ron); 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Oma and Opa traveled extensively while in the military and continued to travel after Opa retired.
Oma loved to knit, crochet and walk her dogs. She was also a member of the German Wives club.
Oma will be interred with her husband at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver CO. A private viewing for family will be held and due to Covid-19 regulations, no services are planned.

JoAnne Weigand, 68, of Cheyenne passed away April 25, 2020 in Cheyenne.
She was born March 23, 1952, in Oswego, NY to Harold and Anna Kline. She married Alfred Weigand on June 10, 1978, in Oswego. She had been employed by Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels and Walmart. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred Weigand of Cheyenne; son Michael Weigand of Fort Collins, CO; brothers, Bill Kline of Caldwell, ID, Bob Kline and Walt Kline of Oswego.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
