Brian Bouley

Brian Bouley, of Cheyenne passed away January 16, 2021 at the University of Colorado Medical Center, due to complications of a kidney transplant he received in July.

Brian was born in Nebraska to Ray and Jean Bouley.  He was an engineer with the Union Pacific Railroad.  He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and was an Eagle Scout.

He is survived by his parents, Ray and Jean Bouley of Cheyenne; brothers, Todd (Barbara) Bouley of Lusk, Eric (Amy) Bouley of Sheridan, WY and his twin, Brent (Amy) Bouley of Cheyenne; nephews and nieces, Markus, Melody, Morgan, Clara, Becca, Leah and Sam Bouley.

Visitation will be Friday 4-7:00 p.m. at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be Saturday at noon in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.  Social Distancing and masks will be required.

Robert L. Garcia

Robert L. (Bobby) Garcia passed away from Leukemia on January 7, 2021.

He was born January 11, 1957 in Ft. Collins, Colorado; however, Cheyenne has always been his home. Bobby is survived by his wife, Carmen; children, Aaron, Justin, Natalie, and Jeremy Garcia; granddaughter, Gia; siblings, Eddie, Steve, Anna Maria, and Jeffery Garcia, and Monica Rhoades; parents, Joseph Edward (Ed) Garcia and Dolores Garcia (Ramirez); and numerous other relatives. Bob was an Army veteran, athlete, humorist, singer, Denver Bronco’s fan, great cook, lover of old movies, Medjugorje Bosnia Missionary, lover of the Blessed Mother/Rosary, attended daily mass, and was an “overcomer” who inspired many others to transform as we are all work in progress.

Vigil for the Deceased will be Thursday, 4:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel and Funeral Liturgy will be Friday, 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Cremation will follow.

Gloria M. Buckmaster

Gloria M. Buckmaster, 96, of Cheyenne passed away January 13, 2021 at Granite Rehab and Wellness.

She was born March 2, 1924 in Cheyenne to Fredrick and Lillian Charman.  She graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1942 and attended Mercy Hospital in Denver in the registered Nursing program. She was a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital for 14 years. 

She married Neal Haddan on June 22, 1947 in Cheyenne, and after he passed away, she married James
Buckmaster in 1974.  She was a member of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, St. Elizabeth Guild, St. Christopher’s Alter Guild, and the Extension Club.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Johnson of Dix, NE and Karen (Stan) Butler of Carpenter; grandchildren, Neal Butler, Kirstan Castro, Erin Lile and Crystal Buckhaus, and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, and a son-in-law, Kenneth Johnson.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home with interment to follow in Beth El Cemetery.

Services are under the care of Schrader. Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.


Harriet L. Erickson

Harriet L. (Grandma Harriet) Erickson, 90, of Cheyenne, passed January 13, at Granite Rehab and Wellness Center.

She was born November 11, 1930 to Emmanuel and Olga (Ehmann) Beglau, in Alfred, North Dakota.

Worked and lived in Minnesota. She was a bookkeeper there. She worked for Crook & Hanley Hardware before moving to Cheyenne.

Harriet married the love of her life Sherman “Bud” Erickson on September 25, 1954. They had three children. Her and Bud moved the kids to Cheyenne where they opened and ran Erickson Hardware from Dec. 1970-Sept. 2002.

Harriet was a Foster Grandparent for ten years and during those years was given the grandparent of the year award. She was a member of the Quota Club International as well.

She is survived by her children Barbara Niven, Colorado Springs; David (Leslie) Erickson, Wellington; Mike (Peggy) Erickson, Cheyenne; grandchildren, Heath (Dayna) Erickson, Heather (CJ) Kammeran, Sara Niven, Lucas Niven, Kari (Casey) Niven, Michael and Tomee Erickson; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Boston, Porcha and Olivia; extended family, Kellie Erickson and many family and friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
