Pat Gilbert Martinez “Old School”, 73, of Cheyenne passed away July 22, 2021 at home, surrounded by family.
Pat was born September 7, 1947 in Sterling, Colorado to Agapito and Mary (Salazar) Martinez. He married Bette Jean Cook on September 27, 1989 in Cheyenne. Pat served honorably in the United States Army. He worked for many years as a Railroad Engineer for Union Pacific. Pat had a passion for riding motorcycle and for his CVMA family.
Pat is survived by his two children, Trish (Jeff) Martinez, of Woods Cross, UT, Chris (Bebe) Martinez of Republic of Cyprus; sisters, Cecelia Benavidez of Cheyenne, and Gloria Torrez of Colorado; grandchildren; Angelic, Gregary, Christopher, Joshua, Joeal, and Cody; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Agapito and Mary Martinez, and wife Bette Jean Martinez.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 30th at 1:00 p.m. at the Schrader Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home in the Schrader Reception Center, interment to follow at 2:30 p.m. with military honors at Beth El Cemetery.
Services are under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home located at, 2222 Russell Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001.
Mary E. Trujillo, 93, passed away on July 20th in Cheyenne. She was born April 29, 1928 in Red Wing, Colorado.
Mary is survived by her children, Ray (Jane) Castro and Lillian (Ben) Valdez, all of Cheyenne, Alice Lucero of Windsor, CO and Roxanne Trujillo of Litchfield Park, AZ; grandchildren, Thomas, Janay, Jaymie, Richard, Sunee, Allison, Andrew, Alexandra and Venessa; 16 great-grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Miguelita Salazar; husband, Tom Trujillo; five brothers, Ned Salazar, Albert Salazar, Louie Salazar, Benny Salazar and Tom Salazar; and two sisters, Polly Mitotoes and Reynalda Duran.
Our family would like to make special mention of the Davis Hospice program of Cheyenne. In particular, the CNA’s and nurses who guided us in their wisdom and tender care. It brought our mother through her final journey with the peace and dignity that she deserved.
Vigil for the Deceased followed by the Funeral Liturgy will be Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Olivet Cemetery.
Lois Marie Bruce, 99, of Cheyenne, died on July 21, 2021 in Cheyenne.
She was born on October 2, 1921 in Imbler, Oregon.
Lois worked for the state of Wyoming library. She loved to play golf in her early years, and was an avid reader and card player.
She is survived by her son, Robert Bruce; daughters, Susanne Perry (Howard) and Pati Schmidt (John); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Young and Roxie Mildred Ruckman; half-brother, Dale Travis; and half-sister, Jean Young
Graveside services will be Monday, 1:00 p.m., at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
