Robert Anderson: 1943 – 2024
Robert “Bob” LeRoy Anderson was born to the proud parents, John and Geneva Anderson on April 7, 1943, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Bob passed away peacefully at his home on January 4, 2024, after a long illness.
Bob was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and sibling. He loved serving his country, volunteering in the community, and spending quality time with family and friends. Bob never met a stranger.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Julie Anderson; his children: Shane (Melissa) Anderson, Morgan (Charly) Conn, Chad Anderson, Wesley (Amanda) Anderson, Ciara Stewart, Fallon (Kyle) Sucharski, and Avery Stewart (Fiancé, Michael); grandchildren: Owen, Madison, and Connor; and his siblings: Denise Johnson, Carol (Larry) Hurst, and Rick (Beth) Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law, Larry Johnson.
Bob was a long-standing member of Cheyenne Hills Church, Cheyenne, Wyoming; Meredith Drive Reform Church, Des Moines, Iowa; and Grace United Methodist Church, Glenwood, Iowa. He enjoyed singing in the choir at each church.
A visitation will be held at Lakeview Chapel on January 9, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at Cheyenne Hills Church on January 10, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. with a burial and military honors to follow at Cheyenne National Cemetery.
Sharon G. Shoemaker: 1946 – 2024
Sharon G. Shoemaker, 77, passed away on Jan. 4, 2024 in Cheyenne. She was born on December 31, 1946 in Cheyenne to Gerald Shoemaker and May Lehmkuhl Pollock. No services are scheduled at this time.
