Carl C. Butler III: 1993 – 2024
Carl C. Butler, III, affectionately known as “Bruhman”, 30, of Cheyenne, passed away on January 8, 2024, at his home. He was born on Sept. 22, 1993, to Carl Butler, II and Sharla Lashaye Spencer-McSwain, in Detroit, Michigan.
Carl enjoyed many things in life, football, music, anime, and DC and Marvel. But family and his friends are what meant the most to him. He would do anything for the people he cared about.
He is survived by his father, Carl Butler, II; mother, Sharla Spencer-McSwain; siblings: Sharnise Tyus, Shareil Spencer, Cordero Spencer, Cobi Spencer, Shayla McSwain; aunts: Sharon Jackson, Romona Banks, Lela Butler, Anganette Eagins; uncles, Tony Spencer and Cartez Butler; niece, Madison Carrington; nephew, Stephan Cox-Spencer; and many cousins and extended family and friends.
Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Burial to take place on Wednesday January 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
Lucille V. Perry: 1934 – 2024
Lucille V. Perry, 89, of Cheyenne, died on January 11, 2024 in Cheyenne.
She was born on March 28, 1934 in Berlin, New Hampshire.
Lucille was a budget analyst for the State of Wyoming.
She is survived by a son, Steven Perry (Janyce); two grandsons, Steven P. Perry, Jr. and Richard A. Perry; and four great-grandchildren.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Perry; and her parents, Oliver and Lillian Vaillancourt.
Visitation will be Monday, 1-2pm, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Services will be Monday, 2:00 p.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with a reception to immediately follow at The Gathering Place.
Barbara Fawn Shurtleff: 1961 – 2024
Barbara Fawn Shurtleff, 62, of Cheyenne, passed at Polaris Rehab and Care Center with family by her side.
She was born on May 15, 1961 in Riverside California to Joy Ann Corbin.
Barbara was grateful believer in Jesus Christ, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her four sisters: Sherry Tucke, Kim Beauprez, Adda Dahlke, and Tiffany Davis; five children: Tracy Beard, Trisha Garner, Tara Legault, Richard Parsons Jr. and Kristina Merriweather; 14 grandchildren: Bronson Beard, Bentley Beard, Paige Nelson, Trae Bjorkquist, Addison Bjorkquist, Annie Shurtleff, Matthew Shurtleff, Ian Shurtleff, Ellie Parsons, Emma Merriweather, Savannah Merriweather, Jeremy Harris-Merriweather, Joshua Merriweather, and Arabella Merriweather; and one great-grandchild, Zayden Nelson.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Joy Ann “Annie” Corbin; father, Joe Agnew; and a brother, Bart Dankhaus.
