Emma Lou Conner

Emma Lou Conner: 1940 – 2024

Emma Lou Conner, 83, of Cheyenne, Wyoming went home to be with the lord on January 10, 2024. Emma Lou Conner “Babe” was born in Guernsey, Wyoming on January 13, 1940, to Leonard LeRoy Lieurance and Geraldine Edith Hauer.

Emma lived in Wyoming most of her life, with a short stint in San Francisco, California. She was a dependable worker with a strong work ethic. She helped her brother Jim start up the first Taco Johns, she worked as the Director of Workman’s Compensation, owned New Generation Day Care, worked as a realtor for Key Real Estate, and was Deputy “Registrar for Preston University for several years.

Her hobbies included gardening, games with family, and crochet. She enjoyed talking to friends and family, crossword puzzles, watching the latest news, and reading with a glass of wine by her side. She found her greatest joy and happiness, in the happiness of others. Emma was a loving mother, grandmother, friend, sister, and disciple of Christ. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her, and we find comfort now knowing she is home at peace in God’s love.

Emma is survived by her two sons, Dennis (Lori) Conner and Lance (Deb) Conner; grandchildren: Matt (Beth) Conner, Iris (Bart) Stolp, Kevin “Brock” (Amanda) Christian, Dillon (Jordan) Conner, Josh Conner, Zac Conner (Sam Stocker); great-grandchildren: Gregory Conner, Bricen Christian, Ava Christian, Ayla Whitworth, Rachel Stolp, Quinn Conner, Elliot Conner, Blake Conner, Hannah Daly, Robert Daly; siblings: Jim Lieurance, LeRoy Lieurance, Betty Clark, Martha Lay; ex-husband, Ivan Conner; and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, in-laws and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Geraldine Lieurance; brothers: David Lieurance, William Corson, and John Hauer; sisters, Sue Ann Espinoza and Edith Espinoza; and daughter Deborah Lehman.

The family will have guests for a Celebration of Life at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens Cemetery immediately following the service. A reception will be held at The Gathering Place following the interment.

For those who cannot attend in person, the service will be “live streamed” at www.wrcfuneral.com beginning at 2:00 p.m.


Nancy Jo Dunnington: 1939 – 2024

Nancy Dunnington died Monday January 8, 2024 from a prolonged illness.

She is survived by three children and their spouses; three grandchildren; and Ralphy the cat.  

She grew up in Michigan. She attended Mary Baldwin in Virgina, and later graduated from the University of Wyoming.

She volunteered at the Cheyenne animal shelter and a was generous doner to the animal shelter and Black Dog Rescue. Her remains will be inurned near her parents in Boonville, Indiana.

Maria De Los Angeles “Kika” Gonzalez: 1954 – 2024

Maria De Los Angeles “Kika” Gonzalez passed away on January 13, 2024.

She was born on October 2, 1954 to Jesus Becerra and Maria De Jesus Gonzalez.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Rosary will be held at St. Joseph’s on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. Viewing will be held at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Viewing will also be held from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2024.


Lucille V. Perry: 1934 – 2024

Lucille V. Perry, 89, of Cheyenne, died on January 11, 2024 in Cheyenne.

She was born on March 28, 1934 in Berlin, New Hampshire.

Lucille was a budget analyst for the State of Wyoming.

She is survived by a son, Steven Perry (Janyce); two grandsons, Steven P. Perry, Jr. and Richard A. Perry; and four great-grandchildren.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Perry; her parents, Oliver and Lillian Vaillancourt; and a sister, Irene LeBare.

Visitation will be Monday, 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.

Services will be Monday, 2:00 p.m, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with a reception to immediately follow at The Gathering Place.

Dennis LeRoy Taylor Sr.

Dennis LeRoy Taylor Sr.: 1957 – 2024

Dennis 66, was born Dec. 31, 1957 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Kenneth Lee Taylor and MaryAnn Shields. He passed away peacefully on Jan. 6, 2024 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

He enjoyed restoring older vehicles and panning for gold. He was in the Marines and then became a trim carpenter and worked on bridges. He was simply known as ‘Opie’ to many.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Charlie Miller; his sister, Brenda; grandson, Ethan; and great-grandson, Caison.

He is survived by son, Dennis Jr.(OJ) and daughter, Bobbi Jo; grandsons: Cainen, Marc, Jayden, and Joey; granddaughters: Vanessa, Phoenix, Annette, Rebecca, Brooklyn, and Zoey; great-grandsons: Drayden, Emmett, Jaxson, Ryder and one due in April; great-granddaughters, Emirra and Raelynn; sisters, Corina, Debbie, and Penny.

Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened. A memorial service will be planned for in the future.
