Lawrence Collins Clark

Lawrence Collins Clark: 1957 – 2024

Lawrence Collins Clark, 66, of Cheyenne, died on January 20, 2024 in Cheyenne.

He was born on September 4, 1957 to Lawrence and Beverly Clark, the third of five children.

He is survived by his daughter, Erin Pindell; two grandsons, Masyn and Hayden Pindell; and his siblings:
Terri Weil (age 67), Jeff Clark (64), and Roger Clark (62.).

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Cheryl Clark.

His hobbies were playing pool and working on his cars.

Military honors will be Friday, 10:00 a.m., at Cheyenne National Cemetery.

Stella Marlene Lallak

Stella Marlene Lallak: 1960 – 2024

Stella Lallak, 63, of Cheyenne, passed away at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Stella was born on May 23, 1960, in Laramie, Wyoming to Don Thomas Williams and Florine A. Landusky.

When Stella wasn’t working at Menards here in Cheyenne, she enjoyed relaxing at home with her husband and her dogs. She enjoyed going to church, fishing, playing piano, singing karaoke with her friends and family, and loved her early morning coffee while sitting out on the porch.

Stella is survived by her husband, Edward Lallak; sons, James Gallagher and wife Tara of Hallam, Nebraska and Jessie Gallagher of Watford, North Dakota; stepdaughter, Tanya Geiselhofer and husband Gary of San Antonio, Texas, and stepson Eddie Lallak and wife Cassie of Tinmath, Colorado; brother, Jim (Jamie) Williams and his wife Sherrie of Arizona; aunt Evelyn Diaz of Cheyenne, Wyoming; six grandchildren: Dillon, Colton, Wyatt, Hadley, Bronson, and Ethan; two great-grandchildren, Zayla and Malcolm; and many close nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Florine and her beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m., February 9, 2024 at Wiederspahn–Radomsky Chapel.

Betty Evelyn Marquart

Betty Evelyn Marquart: 1928 – 2024

Betty Evelyn Marquart was born in 1928 in Cheyenne to Joseph and Dora Marquart. She was one of five siblings, all of whom preceded her in death. They were Mary Stanfield (Clyde), Joseph Marquart (Mildred), Robert Marquart (Pat) and Louise Kaiser (John).

She lived in Cheyenne her entire life, working for many years at Mountain Bell. It was there that she met Milton Briggs who became such an important part of her life in her later years. After retiring from Mountain Bell, she very courageously went back to school, receiving her LPN from LCCC when she was 60.

She worked for a time in private physicians’ offices before becoming a volunteer at Davis Hospice Center. She enjoyed her time there more than any other work she had done, and the people she worked with there, both staff and patients, said how wonderful she was in that role.

She loved to fish and go out to dinner. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Munn (Richard); and is survived by daughters: Betty Mayhew (Bob), Sherry Breider (Mike) and Sue Chilton (Dan); as well as seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her beloved companion, Milton Briggs.

A service of remembrance will be held at First United Methodist Church, 108 E 18th Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming on Wednesday, February 7 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Davis Hospice Center, 6000 Sycamore Road, Cheyenne, WY 82009 would be welcome.

Joyce Loraine Stoinski

Joyce Loraine Stoinski: 1944 – 2024

Joyce Lorraine Stoinski, 79, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away on February 1, 2024.

Joyce was born on April 6, 1944 to the late Harry and Edna Shaw in Rock Island, Illinois. Joyce went on to marry Ronald Stoinski and move to Posen, Michigan where she spent the next several years being an active part of her local community. She moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming later in life, where she continued pursuing her passion of helping others through the Salvation Army, which she was involved in until her passing.

She is survived by her siblings, Gene Shaw and David Shaw; her children: Shelly Zwolinski, Jacqueline Buchler, Amy Grant, Alan Stoinski, Timothy Stoinski; their spouses; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Charles (Chuck) Shaw, Herbert Johnson, and Michael Shaw.

Memorial services will be held Saturday February 10 at 2:00 p.m. at The Salvation Army Corps of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
