Wilford “Wil” Flyte: 1953 – 2024
Wilford Joseph (Wil) Flyte, Jr. passed away peacefully on January 25, 2024. Wil was born on September1, 1953, to Wilford and Beverly Flyte in Hot Springs, South Dakota.
His family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, and that is where he graduated from Saguaro High School.
He served in the Army from 1972 until being honorably discharged in 1975. He moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1977 to start his garbage company — “Flyte Sanitation.”
Wil met Glenna in Cheyenne, and they were married on November 11, 1979. Their son, Samuel Eugene, was born on September 12, 1985.
They built Flyte Sanitation over the years to the success it became.
Wil also enjoyed serving in the National Guards for many years. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He always enjoyed socializing with friends and family.
Wil was preceded in death by his father, Wilford; and brother, Ralph Alan.
He is survived by his son, Sam (Jenny); her son, Kolby; mother, Beverly; sister, Susan; and brothers: James, Patrick, Daniel, and Dennis, all of Arizona.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, February 17, at 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel, with a reception to follow at The Gathering Place.

Gordon A. Johns: 1950 – 2024
Gordon A Johns, 73, passed away at home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on March 3, 1950 in Ottawa Ontario Canada to John Edward Walsh and Muriel Isobel Dean.
Gordon was a registered nurse who worked for the VA Hospital Administration for 35 years until his retirement in 2014. He was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Cheyenne. He loved working outside in his yard, playing with his dog Bobbi, taking walks, going to real estate open houses and craft fairs and playing the slots when he could.
He is survived by his sister, Eileen Walsh; nephew, Richard Walsh (Marisa Beahm); great-nephew, Ethan Walsh; and many friends who became family.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeffrey and Bill Walsh; mother, Muriel Walsh; and the love of his life, Ricky Johns.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date.

Gayleen M. Wyant: 1954 – 2024
Gayleen M. Wyant, 69, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed on February 6, 2024, at the Davis Hospice Center.
Gayleen was born on June 11, 1954, to William and Donna (Cotton) Chilquist, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She was born and raised in Cheyenne along with her brothers.
Gayleen was an employee of the State of Wyoming, as a Surplus Property Manager.
Gayleen enjoyed going to country music concerts, spending time with friends, and quality time with family.
She is survived by her brother, William Chilquist, Jr., and extended family and friends.
Gayleen was preceded by her parents and a brother, Robert Chilquist.
Service will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2024, in Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. A burial will follow the service at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
