Joseph Gutierrez: 1948 – 2024
Joseph Gutierrez, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on April 7, 2024 in Cheyenne, Wyoming with his wife and daughter by his side. Born on April 8, 1948 in Silvercliff, Colorado.
Joseph loved God and his family. He knew the grace of God and cherished that knowing he was saved from his sins.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Louella Gutierrez, who stood by his side through thick and thin. They were married for 54 years. He is also survived by his children: Erin Phipps and Josh Gutierrez. Joseph’s grandchildren, Marissa Phipps, Rylan Phipps, Akela Gutierrez, Kendra Spencer, Christopher Gutierrez, Jalisa Gutierrez, Grace Gutierrez, and Abigail Gutierrez will always cherish the memories they shared with their beloved grandfather.
We have peace because Joseph is in heaven with his lord and savior.
A celebration of life will be May 12, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the David R. Romero activity center located at 1317 Parsley Blvd. Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Dorcas Via Roller: 1932 – 2024
Dorcas Via Roller, of Cheyenne, died on April 7, 2024 in Cheyenne.
She was born on August 8, 1932 to William Craig Via and Nina Marie Via, in Sweet Chalybeate, Virginia at the Carter family home. Her twin brother died in childbirth.
Dorcas was raised in Covington, Virginia, and graduated college with a degree in elementary education from Fairfax Hall Junior College and Radford University.
She married Edgar Walton Roller in 1959 and he preceded her in death in 1994.
She is survived by her two children, Ann Segrave (Thomas) of Cheyenne, and William Roller (Kelly) of St. Louis, Missouri; and the proud grandparent of Stephen Roller, Lindsey Roller, James Segrave, Austin Segrave, Taylor Segrave and Kacie Roller.
Dorcas filled every room with laughter and conversation. She will be missed.
Services will be Saturday, April 14, 11:00 a.m. at the Loving Funeral Home, 350 North Maple Ave, Covington, VA 24426

Lothar W. Schlosser: 1956 – 2024
Lothar Schlosser, 67, of Cheyenne, passed away at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He was born April 8, 1956, in Gunzenhausen, Germany to Gerhart and Elfreida (Pleiner) Schlosser.
He worked in Cheyenne at several hotels as a shuttle driver and security guard.
Lothar had a true passion for traveling the world and meeting an array of different people and was loved by all. He was always considered the glass half full type of man, always knew how to brighten even the saddest of days. He really was a “hoot”.
He is survived by his sisters, Gertraud Harvey and Elke Meyer; nieces and nephews: Cassandra Schlosser, Latoi Frye, Marcus Horton, Elke Benson, Jurgen Benson, Jennifer Benson, Peter Pytlik, Tiara Bagsby, Tyrone Bagsby, Tehlaya Dyer, Athena Fyre, Ares Frye, Amelia Frye, Cedric Frye, Pedro Jaime, Taylor Schafer Horton Elias Jaime; and nieces, nephews, and cousins in Germany.
Lothar Schlosser was preceded in death by his parents, Elfriede Pleiner and Gerhart Schlosser; and siblings: Ursula Malinowski, Beate Mueller, Harald Zierhut, Reinhart Schlosser, Hartmut Schlosser.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
