Richard. M Browning: 1948 – 2024
Rick passed away peacefully at his East Fork home on July 22, 2024. Rick was born on
August 27, 1948, in Pendleton, Oregon, to his parents Glenn Lawrence and June Walker Browning.
Following seven years serving in the U.S. Army, Rick was honorably discharged following severe injuries incurred in Vietnam. He later married Valerie and their union produced three sons.
Rick’s outgoing manner served him well in promoting musical and charity events. Rick liked tinkering with cars, dirt bikes, electronics. He fixed jewelry, grandfather clocks, virtually anything needing fixed.
Richard was a survivalist, intelligent man.
Survivors include his wife, Gayla, of the home; former wife, Valerie and sons: Aaron, Jason and Travis; and stepson, Shawn Reizenstein, Gillette Wyoming; and sisters: Melba Baker, Salmon,Idaho, and Charlotte Matos, Caldwell, Idaho.

Elizabeth A. Anderson: 1956 – 2024
Elizabeth Ann Anderson, age 68, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2024. She was born in Danville, Illinois on February 18, 1956, to Dale Leon and Judith Abernathy. She was known to most as Liz.
Liz spent her early years in Cates, Indiana, before her family moved to Covington, Indiana, as a young girl. After high school, she went to work for the VA Hospital in nursing and later studied pharmaceutical and became a certified pharmacy technician.
Liz relocated her family to Las Animas, Colorado in June 1990. She loved the snow and the mountains. Liz enjoyed the outdoors, camping with the family, nightly nature walks, riding bikes and swimming. Liz enjoyed being crafty, sewing, cooking, crocheting, and quilting. She was known for her love of Elvis and collection. Gone with the Wind was her favorite movie. The Waltons was one of her favorite TV shows. She was straightforward, fun, funny and feisty but always willing to help those in need.
Liz relocated her family, a final time to Cheyenne, Wyoming in January 2002, where she finished her career and retired from the VA Hospital.
Elizabeth is survived by her children: John of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Angela of Naples, Florida, Jessica (Joshua) Naples, Florida, Kurtis (Stephanie) Cheyenne, Wyoming; and siblings: Brenda (Bruce) Starkey of Clinton, Indiana, Kevin (Jill) Abernathy of Covington, Indiana, and Kris Cates of Covington, Indiana. Liz had 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She loved her family and held them dear to her heart.
Liz was preceded in death by her husband, Andy; her parents; brother, Larry (Nancy); and sister, Sue (Richard).
Liz is loved and will be deeply missed. As you reunite with your beloved husband Andy, your best friend/sister Sue, brother Larry, mother and father, this is not goodbye; this is until we see you again in heaven.

James Hamilton: 1950 – 2024
James Floyd “Jay” Hamilton, aged 73, peacefully passed away on August 10, 2024, in Hillsdale, Wyoming, surrounded by his family. Born on November 23, 1950, in Oakland, Maryland, Jay was a respected veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a cherished member of his community.
Jay dedicated 22 years to the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a Geodetic Surveyor and Diesel Mechanic, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. His military career began with joining during Vietnam in 1969, marking the start of his distinguished service. Following his military retirement, Jay continued to work as a long-haul truck driver for companies such as PDQ and Clean Harbors until his full retirement in 2016.
Outside of his professional life, Jay was a passionate enthusiast of cars, semi-trucks, and trains. He was also skilled in woodworking and welding, often spending his free time building structures on the family farm. Family game nights were a favorite tradition full of love and laughter, reflecting his role as a dedicated family man.
Jay is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Cindy Hamilton; daughters: Stacy Smenos, Barbara Baker, Carolyn Foate, and Patricia Hamilton; son, Harold “Jay” Hamilton II; sister, Jinx McNeer; daughter-in-law, Kayla Hamilton; grandchildren: Autumn Craigo, Jade Bentzen, Kendric Young, and Lorelei Hamilton; and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Ivory Craigo. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold James Hamilton; mother, Joan Hamilton; sister, Jerilyn Hamilton; and daughter, Scarlett Hamilton.
Services will be held on August 21, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of Chimes in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with interment to follow at Cheyenne National Cemetery at 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will occur at Little America Hotel in Cheyenne at 1 p.m., where lunch and beverages will be served.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Jay’s memory. The arrangements are being handled by Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes, located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Jay’s life and service will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, and his legacy will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
Carolyn Sue Perrott: 1940 – 2024
She was born October 29, 1940 to William and Mabel (Johnson) Ward in Laramie, Wyoming.
She passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024.
Carolyn is survived by her children and grandchildren: Christy Sawina and Justin and Britney.Gary (Laura) Giesler and Heidi (Jonas) Bulman, Hope (DJ) Martinez and Mae Martinez, Jamie (Richard) Hammer, Dani Adams and Taylor Adams and Jadyn Gregory; her favorite nieces and nephews; and her many great friends.
Mom would like to be remembered as a Christian who loves the lord Jesus and is happy to be spending eternity with him.
Celebration of Life will be celebrated late September.

Ellen Carole Taylor: 1971 – 2024
Ellen Carole Taylor, 52, of Cheyenne, died on August 11, 2024 in Cheyenne.
She was born on November 30, 1971 in Schenectady, New York.
Ellen grew up in Boulder Colorado. She enjoyed playing fast pitch softball as a youth and went on to play college softball at Colby Community College in Kansas and then Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
She worked at Scepter Supply in Cheyenne.
Ellen enjoyed any activities in which she could spend time with her family – beach vacations, spending time at the cabin, playing cards, snowmobiling, or any family gathering.
She is survived by her husband, Shane Taylor; her son, Kody Taylor; and her daughter, Morgan Taylor, all of Cheyenne; her parents, William and Carolyn Perkins of Broomfield, Colorado; her sister, Karen Michel, of Broomfield, Colorado; her sister, Diane Whitt of Broomfield, Colorado; and sister, Laura Quinlan of Woodland Park, Colorado.
There will be an open house to celebrate her life on August 24, 2024 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Taylor residence in Cheyenne.
