Christina M. Bartholomew

Christina M. Bartholomew: 1951 – 2024

Christina (Chris) Bartholomew, 73, of Cheyenne passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the hospital. She was born on October 11, 1951 in Buffalo, New York to James and Edith Ermer. Chris practiced for over 50 years as a registered nurse (RN), starting her career in the neonatal intensive care unit at Buffalo, New York Children’s hospital (head nurse). After relocating to Wyoming, she worked in the pediatric unit at DePaul Hospital and taught pediatric nursing at the University of Wyoming School of Nursing. She went on to serve as the director of the Best Beginnings program at the Laramie County Health Department. In her last career transition, she spent many years in the Laramie County school system at Carey Junior High and then served as head nurse for the district. Chris contributed many extra hours, even after retiring, to improve health care policies and procedures at schools across the state, including working with state legislators. She was active past retirement in the National Association of State Nurses Association and served on various boards at the state and national levels. Chris was widely admired for her attention to detail, passion, and her selfless dedication to providing exceptional service.

Her two greatest passions were her grandchildren and wildlife, particularly in Yellowstone, which was a favorite place to visit. She also gave her time as a 4H horse advisor over many years.

She is survived by her husband, Terry; son, Erik (Amanda) Bartholomew; and two grandchildren: Evan and William; brothers, Joseph (Linda) Ermer and James (Christine) Ermer; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was committed to giving everything her best and will be dearly missed.


Maclovia Concepción Padilla: 1973 – 2024

Maclovia Concepción Padilla, 51, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side. 

Coya, as she was affectionately known, was Born on March 20, 1973, and she left this world on October 11, 2024 at Davis hospice in Cheyenne Wyoming. She loved and she was loved.

Maclovia attended the University of Wyoming. She worked at the Jaded Lair for many of her younger years. She was a small business owner, proud of her accomplishments with Sacred Threads; which offered a clothing line and spiritual teachings. Maclovia was a mother, daughter, sister, friend and spiritual advisor. She loved spending time with her family and friends, she was passionate about art, loved the outdoors, enjoyed reading books, and teaching at spiritual conventions. 

She is survived by her two sons, Lucian Sol Bevans and Justus Raven Sol Bevans of Cheyenne; her mother, Debra (David) Wood of Cheyenne; her father, Don Padilla of Laramie, Wyoming; her sister, Andrina (Eddie) Moronese of Cheyenne; her brother, Fred (Amanda) Padilla of Cheyenne Wyoming; nephews: Michael Padilla, Luciano Padilla, Zarian Gurule, Giovanni Moronese Lucas Padilla, Fred Junior Padilla; nieces: Jordan Nagy, Bryanna Padilla ,Zikaiya Moronese. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Maclovia was preceded in death by her grandparents: Angelina and Fred Padilla, Petra and Andy Gonzalez, and Alfonso Arguello; her aunts, Mabel Duran and Dorothy Weber; her uncle, Tommy Arguello; and her niece, Willow Marie Moronese. 

A Celebration of life will be held at American Legion Post #6 located at 2001 Lincolnway, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001, on October 26 from 2 to 6 p.m. 


Cynthia Petersen: 1942 – 2024

Cynthia Petersen, 81, of Cheyenne Wyoming, passed away October 16, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She was born November 7, 1942, in Sioux City, Iowa to John and Frances McFadden.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Harold (Hap); daughter, Melanie Underwood (Bruce) of Denver, Colorado; son, Christopher McFadden (Dena) of Floral City, Florida; stepson, Leonardo Petersen of Fayetteville, North Carolina; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nephews and nieces.

Funeral Liturgy will be held at Wiederspahn Radomsky Chapel on Wednesday October 23, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.


Louis Lee Prazma: 1944 – 2024

Louis Lee Prazma, 80, of Cheyenne, passed at the VA Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on September 10, 1944, in Gillette, Wyoming to George and Nina Prazma.

Louie was an Air Force Veteran who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

Louie is survived by his brother, Roy Prazma of Sheridan, Wyoming; daughter, Nichole Cox and husband, William Cox of Rock Springs, Wyoming; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Louie was preceded in death by his father, George Louis Prazma; his mother, Nina Lucile (Amende) Dahlin; daughter, Heather Prazma; sister, Nina Lou Miller; brothers, Clay Dahlin and Curt Dahlin.

There will be no services per his request.
