Judi Rae Carter: 1942 – 2024
“My grandma reminds of the color blue; her eyes encapsulate every hue.
My grandma loves the sound of the birds on the greenway on a summers evening; she likes that black and red one in the morning, when the sun starts gleaming.
My grandma loves the sound of wind chimes; she was never one to give a damn about dollars and dimes. Her soft chuckle filled with the sweetest of honey suckle.
I think about the good times with Judi and John, how calm the air was at the breaking dawn.
My grandma loves dark chocolate, Diet Coke and smoke. My grandma reminds me of the brightest star in the sky on a still night when not a word is spoke.”
