Lynda Robyn Barrett: 1946 – 2024
Lynda Robyn Barrett passed peacefully at her sister’s home in Holly Lake Ranch, Texas on December 19, 2024. Robyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Robyn is predeceased by her husband, James Barrett; her parents, William Clint and Hazel Joines; her granddaughter, McKenna Quast; and her sister, Lynn Stratch. She is survived by her three children: Lisa Oliver (Brian) of Broomfield, Colorado, Amy Martinez of Windsor, Colorado and Sean Barrett of Cheyenne Wyoming; 11 grandchildren: Curran, Cameron, McKailyn, and Delaeni Quast, Brennen and Ryan Oliver, Payton and Sloan Martinez, Piper, Brady and Jagger Barrett; as well as two great-granddaughters, Nora and Valor Quast. She is also survived by her sister, Suzan Armstrong and her brother, Dan Joines.
Robyn was born August 19, in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, and spent her childhood homesteading North of Fairbanks, Alaska. She married her beloved husband, Jim, in 1966. Robyn was a very talented, self taught, artist and sculptor. She enjoyed time spent with her husband and her grandchildren especially if it involved travel, shopping or Starbucks. She was an active and faithful member of St. Mary’s Cathedral.
The Rosary Vigil will be Thursday January 16, 2025, at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s. Funeral will be Friday January 17, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Robyn’s life. Kenneth Orin Lockrem: 1935 – 2024
Kenneth Orin Lockrem, born on August 23, 1935, in Faribault, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Kenneth lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love for his family. He served his country honorably in the United States Army, demonstrating a commitment to his nation that he carried proudly throughout his life.
A respected professional, Kenneth worked in Quality Assurance for Boeing, where his expertise and attention to detail contributed significantly to the aerospace industry. His work ethic and passion for excellence were evident to all who had the privilege of knowing him and witnessing his contributions to the field.
Above all, Kenneth was a devoted husband to Lynda Gentry Lockrem. Together, they nurtured a loving family that included their two daughters, Rona Bartos and her husband Tim, and Shauneen Crocker and her husband Jason. Kenneth took great joy in his role as a father and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, who will fondly remember the warmth and wisdom he shared with them.
Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Lynda; his daughters, and his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher Lockrem and Anne (Johnson) Lockrem, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life.
A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Kenneth on January 14, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, located at 2501 Seymour Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001. Friends and family are invited to come together to commemorate and celebrate the remarkable life of this extraordinary man, who touched the hearts of many. Kenneth Orin Lockrem will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Evangeline Nunez: 1940 – 2024
Evangeline P. Nunez (Pacheco) was born on June 6, 1940, in Arroyo Seco, New Mexico. She peacefully passed away on December 27, 2024, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Evangeline’s life was one of profound love and connection, nurturing the bonds she formed with her family and friends throughout the years. She was a cherished sister to Eleanor Naranjo, Cidelia Naranjo, Fermin Pacheco, and Richard Pacheco, all of whom carry her memory in their hearts. Additionally, she is remembered by several other loved ones whose lives she touched with her warmth and kindness.
Evangeline was predeceased by her parents, Lucus Pacheco, Trinidad Pacheco, and her beloved son, Adam. The legacy of her compassion and strength will forever resonate with those who had the privilege of knowing her.
As we reflect on Evangeline’s life, we celebrate the deep impact she has had on her family and friends, cherishing the moments spent together and the love she shared. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy that will continue to inspire those who remember her.
