County commissioner candidates to participate in ‘Politics in the Park’ Q&A forum

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The seven individuals running to be on the Laramie County Board of County Commissioners will make their goals known during a Q&A session Wednesday night.

At 5 p.m., the Laramie County GOP is hosting its weekly Politics in the Park event at Lions Park Amphitheater. Each candidate will answer questions pertaining to issues or topics of importance to county residents.

For the upcoming election cycle, two county commissioner seats will be open. The current commissioners holding the soon-to-be-vacant positions, Brian Lovett and Buck Holmes, are not seeking reelection.

The following people are running for county commissioner positions:

  • Ty Zwonitzer
  • Don Hollingshead
  • Kathy Scigliano
  • Austin Rodemaker
  • Lawrence “Larry” Milbourn
  • Josh Tuttle
  • Jess E. Ketcham

Everyone who has filed to run for the county board is doing so as a Republican.

The county Republican Party is hosting more “Politics in the Park” public meetings over the coming weeks at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays at Lions Park. Below is a list of events:
