WBI welcomes Traci Blevins, LCSW, and Jeff Brown, PA-C

Wyoming Behavioral Institute is pleased to welcome Traci Blevins, LCSW, telemental health and outpatient services director, and Jeff Brown, medical provider. WBI’s outpatient clinic is slated to open in the next few weeks under Traci’s leadership, and will initially offer adolescent telehealth services. WBI’s inpatient medical providers and mental health professionals work closely to provide comprehensive treatment for all patients, including the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Jeff Brown joins Karri Reliford, PA-C, and Lorraine Reed, FNP, in the provision of patient medical care.

Traci obtained her bachelor’s and master social work degrees from the University of Wyoming. She is an adjunct faculty member at Casper College, where she teaches up-and-coming social workers. Prior to becoming the Director of Outpatient and Telemedicine, Traci worked part-time as a therapist at WBI. She directed Casper’s Youth Crisis Center for several years and prior to that, was a therapist and program manager at Mercer Family Resource Center. ​ Traci has extensive experience with clinical supervision, individual, family, and group therapy, trauma-informed care and practice and is a Certified Clinical Tele-mental Health Provider. She will be developing WBI outpatient services in Casper and telehealth services statewide.

Jeff completed Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse degrees at Northland Community and Technical College and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in nursing at Bemidji State University in Minnesota before obtaining a Master of Physician Assistant Studies Degree at the University of North Dakota. Jeff worked as a nurse for more than a decade in intensive care, renal dialysis and cardiac/telemetry units before completing family practice, emergency room, general surgery, pulmonology, dermatology, hospitalist, eye and vision and urgent care rotations while obtaining his physician assistant degree. He actively contributes to the communities in which he lives and works, volunteering at homeless shelters, humane society animal shelters, leading health fairs, coaching hockey and donating blood – more than four gallons, so far. Jeff as worked in outpatient and inpatient primary care and psychiatry settings in Wyoming since 2014. In 2021, he joined Wyoming Behavioral Institute as a medical treatment provider. Wyoming Behavioral Institute offers short-term inpatient psychiatric treatment for children, adolescents, adults and seniors who are in crisis, and residential treatment for adolescents in need of extended care.
