CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The state flag will be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol in Cheyenne and in Carbon, Albany and Sweetwater counties on Saturday in honor of former lawmaker Loren “Teense” Wilford, who passed away earlier this month.
Wilford served District 47 in the Wyoming House of Representatives for more than a decade. His first stint as a legislator came in 1987 and 1988, followed by another period of legislative service from 1993 to 2002.
He passed away Sept. 3.
Gov. Mark Gordon announced that only the state flag should be lowered to half-staff.
