Cheyenne welcomes in sunny skies for first week of autumn

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Relatively cooler temperatures will prevail throughout the coming week.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne reports that southeast Wyoming will be seeing mostly clear skies in the coming days, with high temperatures landing somewhere in the 70-degree range. Nighttime temperatures will continue to drop below or hover around 50 degrees now through Thursday night. North winds will slowly transition to the west from Monday to Wednesday.

Monday will see a high of 75 degrees and low of 44 overnight, as well as increasing clouds throughout the day. Tuesday will see slightly colder temperatures, with a high of 72 and low of 43. Skies on Tuesday will be mostly sunny. Weather will warm slightly in the later half of the week starting Wednesday, which will see clear skies, a high of 78 degrees and overnight low of 49 degrees. Thursday will break the 80-degree threshold to deliver residents a snug 84 degrees. Thursday’s low will be 51 degrees.
