CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne will see warm and dry conditions this weekend, though no red flag warnings are in effect for the city itself. Temperatures will remain well above average, with highs reaching the upper 80s today and Sunday.

The upper-level ridge that has dominated the region’s weather will continue to build, keeping skies clear and temperatures mild in the mid-50s overnight.

Dry conditions will persist into next week, increasing the risk of fire weather across southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle. Humidity will drop to the mid- to low teens, and winds are expected to increase on Sunday.

Areas around Cheyenne, including the Nebraska Panhandle and Albany County, are under red flag warnings due to a combination of low humidity and higher wind speeds. Critical fire weather conditions may persist through Monday.

Monday will bring breezy conditions as a cold front moves through the region, shifting winds from west to north around midday. Humidity will remain low, and a fire weather watch is in place for Monday. Tuesday may bring temporary relief, though fire weather concerns could return midweek.
