Cheyenne to enjoy sunny skies as new week starts

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne-area residents are expected to see clear conditions and comfortable temperatures as the coming week begins.

On Monday, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne calls for bright skies and a high temperature near 70 degrees. Moderately strong west-northwest winds could reach speeds of 15 mph and gusting speeds as strong as 25 mph.

At night, temperatures will likely fall to a low of about 35, the NWS in Cheyenne reports. Skies should remain mostly clear, though some cloud coverage is likely to move in past nightfall. Winds are also expected to fall to speeds of just 5–10 mph.

Tuesday’s forecast is nearly identical to Monday’s, with sunny skies and a high near 71 degrees. Winds are again likely to reach speeds of 10–15 mph.

At night, temps should drop to a low of roughly 48.
