Sunny, breezy start to week expected

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The National Weather Service in Cheyenne is predicting some blustery conditions coupled with clear skies and comfortable temperatures on Monday as Cheyenne-area residents get their new week underway.

Monday is likely to be sunny, with a high temperature near 78 degrees. Throughout the day, west-northwest winds will reach speeds of 15–20 mph, and the NWS in Cheyenne reports wind gusts could reach speeds of up to 30 mph.

At night, temperatures will fall to a low around 42 degrees. After sundown, wind speeds will die down, falling to a light 5–10 mph, the NWS in Cheyenne reports.

Tuesday will likely be much of the same, with a high of 78 and clear skies in the forecast.
