Snow likely to come in week ahead

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Frigid temperatures and snowfall are likely to hit southeast Wyoming in days to come.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne reports that skies will be mostly sunny Monday. Clouds will then overtake the region during most of the remaining week. Monday’s high will be around 41 degrees, and the low will be 25.

Tuesday will start off sunny and see increasing clouds. Winds will pick up to around 30–35 mph before dropping slightly in the afternoon. A chance of snow is expected overnight.

Snow is predicted to occur Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will also dip in the latter half of the week. The highs and lows over the next several days are as follows:

  • Tuesday: High of 43, low of 20
  • Wednesday: High of 30, low of 16
  • Thursday: High of 34, low of 21
