Sunny start to coming week in Cheyenne-area forecast

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Laramie County residents will be able to enjoy some clear skies and temperatures in the mid- to high 50s as the coming week gets underway.

Monday will be a sunny Veterans Day, with a high temperature near 55. Moderately strong south-southwest winds are likely to reach speeds of up to 15 mph, according to reports from the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

At night, temperatures should fall to a low around 29 degrees. Wind speeds are expected to be slightly calmer than earlier in the day, reaching speeds just above 10 mph after sundown.

Tuesday will again be mostly sunny, with a high temperature of 56 in the NWS in Cheyenne’s forecast. The day will likely be blustery, with west winds of 10–15 mph increasing to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as strong as 30 mph.
