CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Following a cold snap and weekend snow, southeast Wyoming is ready to experience relatively warmer autumn temperatures in days ahead.
The National Weather Service in Cheyenne reports that temperatures will remain steady, with a high near 60 degrees and a low near 30 on Monday. Skies will be clear throughout the day.
Tuesday will keep warm temperatures going, but the NWS in Cheyenne is reporting a 20% chance of rain after 11 a.m., which would then mix with snow after 2 p.m. Clouds will increase through the day. A west-southwest wind will blow through the area at anywhere from 10 to 20 mph. Gusts may blow through as fast as 30 mph.
The rest of the week will bring sunny skies and a possibility of winds. The highs and lows over the next several days are as follows:
- Tuesday: High of 57, low of 29
- Wednesday: High of 49, low of 30
- Thursday: High of 57, low of 30
