Blustery start to coming week expected

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The National Weather Service in Cheyenne predicts sunny skies and windy conditions to kick off the coming week in Cheyenne.

Monday is expected to be mostly sunny but with some cloud coverage. The high temperature will be near 48 degrees, and morning winds of up to 20 mph will likely increase to as strong as 25 mph in the afternoon. Wind gusts as strong as 35 mph are expected throughout the day.

Skies should remain clear after sundown, as temperatures fall to a low of around 20 degrees. Winds will pick up at night, and the NWS in Cheyenne reports gusts upwards of 40 mph throughout the night.

According to the NWS in Cheyenne, Tuesday will again be sunny, but also noticeably colder, with a high of just 33 degrees in the forecast. Winds will again reach speeds of 25 mph with gusts of up to 40 mph.
