CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne residents should expect a breezy, sunny Monday to begin the week.
The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a high wind watch for the capital city that will last from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tuesday. Interstate 25 north of Cheyenne and Wheatland are also affected. Meanwhile, I-80 between Cheyenne and Laramie is under a high wind warning. A west-northwest wind will blow through the city at 20–25 mph come afternoon. Wind gusts could reach as high as 40 mph. Skies will be clear, but clouds will increase throughout the day. The high temperature will be around 49 degrees, while the low will be 20 at nighttime.
Temperatures will get cooler Tuesday, then rise back into the 40s and 50s for the remainder of the week.
