CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne residents can look forward to mild weather through Saturday, with above-average temperatures and sunny skies expected. Thursday’s high temperature will reach the 50s in lower elevations, with a few areas possibly nearing 60 degrees. Breezy conditions in the morning will gradually taper off, leaving a pleasant afternoon.

Overnight lows will range from the 20s to 30s, thanks to the morning sunshine and persistent dry air. Friday and Saturday will bring even warmer weather, with highs exceeding 60 degrees along and east of the Interstate 25 corridor.

Areas in the North Platte River Valley may see temperatures climb into the mid-60s, while western areas near the Laramie Range will experience slightly cooler weather as clouds increase Saturday.

According to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, a cold front will arrive Sunday, bringing windy conditions and cooler air. Gusts could exceed 60 mph in wind-prone areas, including the I-80 Summit and Arlington. A more significant weather shift may follow early next week, with the potential for wintry weather Monday and Tuesday.
