CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Dry conditions are expected to continue through the weekend in Cheyenne and southeast Wyoming, accompanied by warmer-than-average temperatures.

Over the weekend, a ridge of high pressure will strengthen, allowing temperatures to increase further. However, by Sunday, a shortwave system may bring light snow showers to Carbon and Albany counties. Westerly winds off the Laramie Range are likely to limit snow accumulation east of the mountains.
Temperatures will drop Monday as a cold front moves through the region, bringing highs in the upper 20s to low 30s in southeast Wyoming.
