Sunny start to week ahead, per National Weather Service

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Laramie County residents are likely to be greeted by clear skies and chilly temperatures as they get the coming week started, according to the forecast from the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

Monday is expected to be bright and sunny, with a high temperature near 28 degrees. However, strong 30 mph wind gusts are likely to lead to windchill values between zero and 10 degrees.

Skies should remain mostly clear at night, as temperatures fall to a low of around 12 degrees. Windchill values will remain between zero and 10, though, with west-northwest winds of 10–15 mph.

Tuesday will again be sunny, though the NWS in Cheyenne reports it will be moderately warmer with a high near 35 degrees. Moderate winds of 15–20 mph can be expected throughout the day.

After nightfall, temperatures should fall to a low of around 16 degrees.
