I-80 between Laramie and Cheyenne closed due to crashes

(WYDOT District 1)

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation is reporting that Interstate 80 has been closed between Laramie and Cheyenne due to multiple crashes.

That’s according to a social media post from WYDOT District 1, which states that the left eastbound lane near Laramie from milepost 315 to 321 is currently blocked.

“Expect delays,” the post stated. “Multiple crashes down Telephone Canyon, be patient while crews work to clear the wreckage.”

According to the post, other closures include I-80 westbound between Laramie and Cheyenne and Wyoming Highway 210 between Cheyenne and Laramie.

There is currently a “no unnecessary travel” edict for Walcott Junction and Laramie on I-80/U.S. 30/U.S. 287.

Updates on road closures and advisories can be found at wyoroad.info.
