Sunny start to week expected for Cheyenne area

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne-area residents will be able to enjoy warm temperatures around the 60s as the coming week gets underway, according to the forecast from the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

Monday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 61 degrees. It will also be breezy, with wind gusts as strong as 35 mph.

At night, conditions will fall to a low of roughly 26 degrees. Winds will also die down, and the NWS in Cheyenne reports that wind speeds will only reach 10 mph after dark.

Tuesday will again feature mostly sunny conditions, and the NWS in Cheyenne predicts a high near 57 degrees. Winds should be far weaker, with the NWS in Cheyenne reporting top speeds of only 10–15 mph.

Tuesday night should see temperatures drop to a low of 26 degrees.
