CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Cheyenne area will be able to enjoy a fairly warm start to the coming week, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne predicts.
Monday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny conditions and a high temperature of about 60 degrees. It should feel cooler because of some very breezy weather, though, as the NWS in Cheyenne reports west winds of 15–25 mph and gusts as strong as 40 mph.
Clouds will begin moving in during the evening, and temperatures should fall to a low around 28 after sundown. Wind gusts upwards of 30 mph will remain possible past dark.
Tuesday’s weather outlook is similar, with the NWS in Cheyenne reporting mostly sunny skies and a high of 57 degrees. Winds are expected to be far weaker, with south-southwest winds expected to reach speeds of just 5–15 mph.
