Travel on Interstate 80 through Wyoming is slow to impossible today as high winds whip the area.
According to WYDOT, as of 12:30 p.m., I-80 between Evanston and Cheyenne is closed in one or both directions, or experiencing rolling closures today.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has reported gusts of 73 mph in areas along the corridor, with ice and blowing snow accumulating in sections.
Other highways affected by the weather today are US 30 between Granger and Cheyenne, and US 287 between Laramie and Rawlins.
The NWS says the winds are likely to reduce during this afternoon, but more snow is predicted starting on Sunday night.
