Friday morning snow in Cheyenne to give way to partly sunny skies, lower temperatures

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Following some morning snow, the sun will come out as the temperature falls in Cheyenne throughout Friday, per the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

Chances of snow showers are projected to dramatically fall after 10 a.m. and eventually dissipate entirely later in the afternoon. By 5 p.m., partly sunny skies will be shining on Cheyenne, according to NWS.

The high temperature today is 35 degrees with a low of 16 along with blustery conditions, with winds projected from the north northwest of 25 to 30 mph and gusts as high as 45 mph. As of Friday morning, the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has not closed portions of Interstates 25 and 80 outside of Cheyenne to any traffic, though portions of the highway are slick in spots and/or affected by strong winds.
