CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Springtime weather in southeastern Wyoming takes a while to get going, but when it does, it results in some beautiful conditions.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne is projecting pleasant temperatures across Wyoming’s capital city over the next few days, with high temperatures hovering around the mid- to high 70s and paired with plenty of sun in the forecast to boot.

Nonetheless, there will also be some possibility for storms, particularly as the heart of the workweek gets underway.

Monday is currently expected to be even warmer, with a high of 78, but there is also a small chance of thunderstorms (30%) forecast for the afternoon. That chance will increase to 50% on Tuesday afternoon, which will otherwise feature a high of 75 with mostly sunny skies.

High temperatures of 75 and 77 are currently in Wednesday’s and Thursday’s forecasts, respectively, though any chances of storms are unknown at the moment.
